About the position
We are looking for a Azure DevOp Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
Together with our international team you will be collaborating on modern applications for insurance clients. You will be contributing with your ideas to delight our clients with a high value software solution.
Salary: from 3000€ to 4200€/TPP OR up to 350€/MD
Type of employment: TPP/IČO
Location: Full-remote within Slovakia
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities
- Working with the data platform
- Applying new DevOps methodologies
- Development of IaC, CI/CD and e2e solutions
- Cooperating with Solution Architects
Must have
- Deep Azure background/knowledge
- Experience with Linux
- Understanding DevOps methology
- Fluent English
As a Azure DevOps Developer your tasks will be:
- Applying DevOps methodology and improving internal routines and procedures
- Operating applications running on the data platform and performing systems engineering tasks
- Running applications, jobs and resolving tasks based on business or project requests for Enterprise Data Use Cases (on-remise/cloud)
- Development of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) artifacts, CI/CD and end-2-end automation solutions (Gitlab CI)
- Ensure that all tasks and change status in JIRA are successfully maintained and processed
- Mentoring less experienced colleagues and knowledge sharing with the team
- Prepration of technical documentation and standards
- Support Solutions Architect with Infrastructure topic expertise
- Performing other tasks appropriate to the position and type of work as directed by your supervisor
Requirements
- Applying DevOps methodology and improving internal routines and procedures
- Strong background in Linux administration
- Expert knowledge and experience with Linux container technologies
- Strong experience with Cloud & Azure is a prerequisite
- Experience with Gitlab CI is a prerequisite
- Familiarity with wide variety of open-source technologies
- Solid experience as a DevOps Engineer with strong focus on automation
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure, platform and application
incidents - Solid knowledge of GitLab administration
- Experienced usage of system monitoring/logging/metrics & creation of dashboards
(Dynatrace, Grafana) - Experience with security topics like patching, system updates and handling of vulnerabilities
- Experience with Agile Software Development
- Experience with working in a Scrum team
